We use the highest strength marine-grade stainless steel available and we coat the sensor tines with a layer that further helps with wear and tear. Rocks can cause problems if you force the sensor through them, but in most cases, the user can sense this and use with care. They are the most durable and strongest tines on the market, and our usual replacement time period is 2 to 3 years. The POGO works equally well in fairways as it does in greens, and it is used by many in this manner around the world.
